The Vice President of Business Development at NS1 will define and implement a framework and operating model for our strategic partner ecosystem and work directly with the CEO and leadership team to foster strategic relationships, advance our technology mission of connecting applications and audiences, and accelerate revenue by uncovering and accelerating business development opportunities.

The ideal candidate for the role is both strategic and a results-oriented hunter who can identify and prioritize meaningful opportunities (strategic, tech, and revenue) and lead both the NS1 team and a small group of leveraged business development contributors to maximize opportunities and the NS1 ecosystem. This role will be an active member of the NS1 leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.

You will:

  • Prospect and qualify to generate a robust pipeline of BD opportunities (strategic, tech and revenue)
  • Create and implement a successful business development framework and cadence with which to prioritize and execute upon opportunities
  • Work closely with cross-functional peers to drive clarity and simplicity in the charter and priorities of the Business Development organization
  • Maintain an informed understanding of the NS1 ecosystem through both primary and secondary market and competitive intelligence and analysis in collaboration with key stakeholders
  • Invest in our strategic partners to understand their business and priorities and how the NS1 platform can meaningfully advance those priorities
  • Collaborate with our CEO, CPO and CTO to help accelerate the advancement of our platform either directly or by expanding our technology partnership ecosystem
  • Drive accelerated revenue growth by identifying opportunities, defining the strategic rationale, developing tactical implementation plans and negotiating terms and conditions for key business development opportunities
  • Define strategies that demonstrate compelling value to expand and close complex enterprise technology BD opportunities
  • Negotiate win-win economics in contracts that support profitable, long-term ecosystem relationships
  • Regularly collaborate with NS1’s Board of Directors, CEO and leadership team to educate, inform, and update on progress toward our business development priorities
  • Support the creation and execution of multi-year business development strategies

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS BD in dynamic, fast paced, and results orientated environments
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with internal constituencies
  • Significant track record of closing high value, strategic partnerships
  • Ability to prioritize ruthlessly, dedicating the team’s time and resources on the most promising opportunities
  • Strong Executive presence with credibility in application/infrastructure technology
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, growth stage environment that’s fast-evolving
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, verbal and listening skills
