Job Description:

A market and solutions strategist that will evaluate emerging technology and trends, develop alliances, negotiate agreements, and assemble a portfolio of technologies/services into future product or solutions offerings. An in-depth knowledge of the ecosystem we operate in and the emerging trends is critical. This key role will assist Neustar in meeting their growth potential by: developing new market initiatives, assessing new markets, and analyzing business opportunities. Conducts financial feasibility studies and develops proposals for new business opportunities, including potential mergers and acquisitions. This role requires significant external focus and gravitas in order to establish Neustar as a thought leader and key player within the ecosystem in which we operate. As a key member of the leadership team, this individual will work closely with Product Management, and additionally with Sales and Marketing as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Engage and close new partners for Neustar’s current and planned products and solutions
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering groups to define future services roadmap and requirements, as well as go-to-market strategies through build, buy or partner analysis
  • Collaborate with Marketing to create and implement marketing initiatives that support the revenue growth plan
  • Develop go to market plans for concepts that move from early stage development past proof of concept/market testing.
  • Works closely with senior leadership team to formulate strategic development roadmap and strategy to achieve business goals.
  • Responsible for regularly briefing senior leadership team on strategic development including, new product portfolio, new trends, new sales and market opportunities
  • Have a solid understanding of the product and markets of the products you are responsible for to enable you to be a good business partner to your colleagues in Product Management, Sales and Marketing and to enable you to make good context based decisions.

CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

  • Drive new corporate alliance initiatives to include establishing partner framework, operating KPIs, partner negotiations, and potential M&A or joint venture options.
  • Responsible for research, risk assessment, market potential, competitive analysis and technical viability of each potential partnership.
  • Own build, buy or partner analysis for each new capability or initiative required to complement the company’s product and service offerings.

LEADERSHIP

  • Provide strong leadership in the recruitment, training, mentoring and development of top-quality talent across his / her organization.
  • Regularly communicate the goals, plans, expectations and performance metrics to the team.
  • Create and maintain a culture characterized by a high level of performance and productivity.
