VP of Strategic Partnerships
Imagen is extending the frontiers of medicine and artificial intelligence (AI) to improve human well-being. Over the long-term, we are conducting research to find the next set of breakthroughs at the intersection of AI and medicine to transform early disease identification and management.
We’re a team of leading scientists, engineers, clinicians, and industry professionals from some of the top healthcare and technology organizations across the globe. Our clinical team is comprised of radiologists and surgeons from Mayo Clinic, Stanford Hospital, Hospital for Special Surgery, Boston Children’s Hospital, and others. Imagen’s technical team is comprised of machine learning PhDs and engineers with extensive experience doing research and building technology and products at world-class organizations.

We’re looking for a VP of Strategic Partnerships who will own the goal of ensuring that our Artificial Intelligence team has the training data it needs to successfully realize our product roadmap, both today and over the long-term. In this role, you will have three core responsibilities. First, you will partner with our Product and Artificial Intelligence teams to develop the data strategy that determines our medical data needs over the coming years. Second, you will be responsible for executing against this data strategy by establishing long-term partnership agreements with healthcare providers across the U.S. This requires an ability to build relationships with key decision-makers across the healthcare system and close deals. Third, you will play a critical role in the ongoing management of our partnerships, which includes management at all levels -- from the C-Suite to those supporting IT implementation efforts. This role is a part of the leadership team and will report to the Co-CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Create and evolve medical data acquisition strategy with our AI and Product teams in conjunction with Imagen’s product roadmap.
- Execute long-term data-sharing and licensing agreements with healthcare providers both nationally and internationally.
- Build and manage external partnerships and internal relationships including leadership responsibilities and overseeing cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience working in a top-tier consulting firm or investment bank, or in a partnership, sales or business development role at an early-stage healthcare company.
- An acute understanding of the U.S. healthcare system and how decisions are made by the various players across the ecosystem.
- Experience in successfully developing, launching and selling de novo commercial offerings to healthcare providers (clinicians and administrators).
- Proven ability to win over any room and translate that commercial excitement into a formal contractual relationship.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
