Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and support Windows Servers, Cloud Services, Windows and Mac Workstations, and Mobile Devices 
  • Manage user access via Active Directory and a cloud Identity Provider 
  • Install OS and 3rd party software, patches, and upgrades 
  • Discover opportunities for automation and implement reliable solutions to improve the  infrastructure 
  • Configure system monitoring to ensure maximum availability of services 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation 
  • Manage endpoint tools for anti-virus and log collection 
  • Manage private and public SSL certificate infrastructure 
  • Manage public DNS records for websites and email infrastructure 
  • Manage in-office server rooms 
  • Manage security camera and card access systems 
  • Ensure all systems are configured in adherence with security best-practices 
  • Track all work via ticketing system 
  • Adhere to Change Management policies for changes that impact production systems 
  • Manage purchasing and licensing of hardware and software 
  • Support modern AV and conference room equipment  
  • Support modern VOIP phone system 
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical system alerts 
  • Provide levels 1, 2, & 3 technical support to all users 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in a IT Engineering role 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Server Roles such as Active Directory, DFS, DHCP, DNS, Certificate Services, NPS/RADIUS, WDS, MDT, MBAM, etc.  
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, etc.  
  • Comprehensive knowledge of email security and filtering 
  • Thorough understanding of enterprise networking concepts such as Core, DMZ, Edge, VLANs, etc. 
  • Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting Dell desktops and laptops 
  • Thorough knowledge of Mac OS and Mac hardware 
  • Thorough knowledge of troubleshooting Android and iOS 
  • Thorough knowledge of VMware Horizon  
  • Thorough knowledge of desktop and server patch management 
  • Take ownership of major projects and lead them to completion 
  • Balance multiple projects with day-to-day responsibilities based on changing priorities 
  • Thoroughness and careful attention to detail 
  • Desire and ability to teach and train fellow team members and end-users
  • Capable of effective communication with people of all technical levels
