Senior Account Executive, Travel

Our award-winning integrated marketing agency is seeking a Senior Account Executive with 3+ years of experience who lives and breathes the world of luxury travel, tourism, and wellness and is passionate about building a career alongside the world's most glamorous hotels, resorts, and spas.

As a Senior Account Executive, you are a driver of account momentum and a vital link between our junior team and senior leadership. You will combine high-level execution with emerging leadership, ensuring our luxury hospitality clients receive exceptional service and amazing media results.
Responsibilities include:
Client Leadership & Strategy

  • Act as the trusted day-to-day point of contact for clients, leading regular conference calls and providing thoughtful strategic counsel.
  • Develop and execute media strategies, goals, and pitch angles with minimal oversight.
  • Proactively identify industry trends and develop "value-added" solutions and thought leadership strategies for our clients.

Media & Content Excellence
  • Secure top-tier coverage across consumer, travel, lifestyle, and business media, including social media platforms and influencers.
  • Write and edit persuasive content across various styles—from news releases and case studies to awards submissions and executive proposals.
  • Lead the execution of press trips, media appointments, and high-profile brand events.

Team Mentorship & Operations
  • Help lead and inspire junior team members by delegating effectively, sharing industry best practices, and encouraging their professional growth.
  • Manage weekly timelines, action plans, and PR reports to ensure every deadline is met and every objective is surpassed.
  • Contribute to new business development, including brainstorming, research, and crafting winning RFPs and proposals.

Requirements:
  • At least 3+ years of PR agency experience, specifically within the luxury travel and hospitality sectors.
  • Proven attention to detail, polished presentation skills, the ability to manage multi clients, and balance changing deliverables.
  • Expertise in delivering a wide range of content, including persuasive media pitches, strategic press releases, and winning award entries
  • A deep portfolio of secured coverage in top-tier consumer media, including travel, lifestyle, and business titles.
  • A solid understanding of the travel industry from both B2B and B2C perspectives.
  • Expertise in navigating traditional, digital, and social media landscapes to build cohesive brand narratives.
  • Experience producing Awards & Rankings submissions, including strategy, researching and writing submissions
  • Proficiency with industry-standard measurement and monitoring platforms like Muckrack, Cision, and Trendkite.

This role will be based in our New York City office and a hybrid schedule of a minimum of two in-office days per week. Work travel may be required with this role.
The approved compensation range for this role is $67,000 – $76,000 depending on location and commensurate with experience.
