Why we're hiring:

Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for working with WPP operating companies on all aspects of the monthly accounting cycle.


What you'll be doing:

  • Work with internal finance and accounting teams on the monthly accounting cycle
  • Perform reconciliations including bank accounts, intercompany, balance sheet accounts and operating expense analyses
  • Propose, review, load and post journal entries
  • Provide analysis and support in reconciling problem items
  • Provide accounting analysis
  • Help with on-going Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements
  • Provide analysis when needed, often working with the Financial Accounting Manager, Managing Director or internal finance and accounting teams
  • Help with monthly Maconomy and Cartesis reporting requirements


What you'll need:

  • Accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and international financial reporting standards to assist with internal reporting/monthly accounting cycle
  • An understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
  • Excel skills and working knowledge of the other Office365 applications

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
