Reporting directly to our Head of People Operations, the Senior Associate will build and scale core functions of Knotel’s People Operations team. S/he will ensure that our employees have a best in class onboarding experience, analyze departmental data to drive strategy, plan events that build culture across the organization, and contribute to internal learning and development initiatives. This is a great opportunity to grow professionally while making Knotel an even better place to work.

What You’ll Do

  • Leverage company data on recruiting, progress towards OKRs (objectives and key results), performance, and other people-focused metrics to help drive team strategy
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding for Knotel employees, improving the playbooks for each of these systems as we grow
  • In partnership with Knotel’s Culture Committee, plan diverse events that build connectedness among our scaling, distributed workforce
  • Partner with Knotel’s Legal Team in managing immigration matters for current and prospective employees, including liaising with outside counsel
  • Run point on key People Operations relationships, including our benefits professional employer organization (PEO)

Who You Are

You have cut your teeth in HR, People, and/or Talent in a high-performing organization and are ready for your next challenge. Roles with a dynamic mix of work excite you, and you’re always looking for new ideas and better ways of doing things. You know how to analyze data from many inputs to drive strategy and understand that building trust with colleagues is indispensable to a thriving, productive culture. You hold yourself to exceptionally high standards and maintain a big-picture view, but appreciate that the devil is in the details. You also have the following:

  • Analytical skills and facility with MS Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
  • Knowledge of different types of employee benefits packages, particularly those that serve growing startups
