You will be joining the Attune team as one of our initial account managers to take ownership of developing core distribution relationships.  You will work cross-functionally across the company to both help set our vision for the future and create a roadmap for how we are going to get there. You will be a member of our business development team working with engineers, data scientists, user researchers, insurance veterans and underwriters to refine our vision for how we can reimagine the way insurance is delivered.  

Along the way, you will build great working relationships and join a collaborative community that believes anything is possible and that you can have fun while doing great work. 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Defining and executing a holistic account strategy with P&L responsibilities, including developing business production goals, managing profitability, partner compensation and underwriting performance.
  • Building and delivering client presentations with audiences ranging from C-Suite executives to individual contributors in both group and one-on-one settings.
  • Recognizing and responding to opportunities and issues and working across functions – Product, Analytics, Technology, Customer Care - to increase funnel conversion, drive product expansion, improve the customer experience and resolve issues.
  •  Participating in the development and execution of marketing and account management strategies while also building a regular and iterative process for testing and monitoring market effectiveness.
  • Developing and executing agency field support plans, inclusive of office visits and participation in client trade shows and producer meetings.
  • Conducting product and platform training and onboarding new Attune producers.
  • Working with Analytics and Product teams to create and drive utilization and monitoring of sales and service dashboards that will improve conversion rates.  
  • Establishing performance metrics aligned with overall Attune distribution and growth goals.

 Qualifications for success:

  • You have a proven track-record of fostering and managing client relationships.
  • You have insurance experience at the carrier or brokerage/agency level, but are willing to think non-traditionally about differentiating Attune relative to its competitors.
  • You have a strong technical background and financial acumen with account P&L management experience.
  • You have insurance product and market knowledge and can explain the product features/benefits and competitive position relative to the insurance agency and SME business needs.
  • You have a data-driven approach to understanding and optimizing the insurance agency user experience.
  • You have exceptional communication skills with ability to interface at a C-Suite level and with individual contributors. 
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and are capable of building relationships to drive success.
  • You will be required to travel regularly throughout the United States to onboard and visit client offices.
  • You currently hold or can quickly obtain an active insurance producer license.
