At Ridgeline, the Deal Desk team is a cornerstone of our Sales Operations team, providing the expertise and structure needed to enable sales success. As a key contributor to this team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping deal strategies, ensuring operational efficiency, and influencing Ridgeline’s growth trajectory. Working closely with Legal, Finance, and Product teams, you’ll help navigate complex deals and provide insights to drive better decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and technology, including AI-driven solutions like ChatGPT and Evisort, as you streamline deal workflows and enable scalable processes.
What will you do?
- Partner with sales teams to structure and approve complex deals that align with business objectives and comply with company policies.
- Train and enable sales teams on tools, processes, and strategy for customer experience and subscription revenue optimization
- Provide strategic guidance on pricing, discounting, and contract terms to optimize deal profitability and competitiveness.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for deal-related inquiries, escalations, and approvals.
- Review, negotiate, and redline customer contracts in partnership with Legal, including NDAs, MSAs, order forms, and SOWs, to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Legal team to mitigate and address escalations and ensure contracts align with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Act as the front-line negotiator for terms and conditions, striking a balance between customer requirements and business goals.
- Architect deal desk processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Implement best practices and tools to streamline approval workflows and enhance collaboration across functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely input of deal information into CRM systems, CLM systems and other platforms.
- Track deal metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights into deal performance and trends.
- Identify opportunities to improve deal structures, strategies, and processes based on market and historical data.
- Collaborate with Finance and Sales Operations teams to align deal desk performance with overall revenue goals.
- Support product launches by developing and implementing pricing and packaging strategies.
- Provide leadership with feedback on challenges and opportunities identified through deal desk activities.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, deal desk, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated track record in leading and architecting commercial transaction motions.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, contract management, and sales processes.
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
- Excellent analytical skills to evaluate complex deal structures and provide data-driven solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bonus
- Experience in SaaS or technology industries.
- Familiarity with CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools and processes.
- Background in financial modeling or contract negotiation.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.

Compensation and Benefits
The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at an On-Target Earnings of $252,000 - $300,000. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
