About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Community Operations to define what success means for Fora's local community programs (Chapters) and build and operate exceptional processes at scale. You will be responsible for the seamless experience of Chapter Leaders (local advisor-leaders) and Fora Advisors in Chapters while building underlying business performance management systems. You will optimize processes, build the case for relevant product decisions, develop data insights, and manage relationships with key internal and community stakeholders. 

In this role, you will report to our Head of Community. This is a high-impact role working closely with Fora Advisors at a pivotal moment in Fora’s growth—an exceptional opportunity for a data-driven operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to accelerate their career.

Key ResponsibilitiesFirst Three Months
  • Support the end to end execution of Chapter launches by operationalizing and improving existing playbooks and SOPs- manage timelines, streamline workflows and coordinate with cross functional teams to enhance onboarding, training and communications.
  • Review and improve day-to-day communications processes for Chapter Leaders and Ambassadors, including defining and communicating clear expectations internally across Fora HQ and externally with the community
  • Dig into the data to understand the business drivers for advisors and define the most impactful retention metrics
  • Build relationships with Chapter Leaders, Fora Ambassadors and cross-functional team including Product, Product Operations, Data Analytics and Partners teams
Ongoing Responsibilities
  • Lead operational efficiency for Chapter members by building internal processes, automations and communication expectations including best-practices and clear success criteria
    • Partner with the Product team to build the business case and vision for the Chapter community experience in Portal and other advisor Chapter touch points
  • Manage Chapter Leaders day-to-day, proactively communicating new product features, policies, and programs, developing and managing feedback loops and ensuring consistent improvement
  • Manage Fora Ambassadors (Fora Advisors who manage our digital community) ensuring structured engagement by Fora HQ team including managing an SLA, consistent information communicated to advisors by Ambassadors and positive impact on community culture
  • Ensure clear, frequent communication and application of community policies and expectations to effectively manage the total advisor community
    • Act as an escalation point to resolve partner-client-advisor issues in collaboration with the Legal Specialist, Investigations
  • Track and improve chapter member performance goals and create metrics of success for programs implemented by Chapter Leaders
    • Translate insights into product recommendations, communication strategies, and scalable improvements
Requirements
  • Proven success in reimagining and scaling programs, and optimizing and automating processes
  • Strong data analysis skills — comfortable diving into BI tools, determining the metrics that matter and making data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, and personable — able to drive progress independently
Compensation

Compensation range for this role can vary widely depending on experience, and for this role an indicative range is $110k-$130k + equity. Other benefits include:
