About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Content Marketing to lead our content strategy and execution. The ideal candidate is a data-driven creative thinker with a passion for storytelling, a deep understanding of digital content trends, and strong organizational skills to drive multiple high-priority initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, creation, distribution, and performance of diverse content that aligns with our brand voice and business objectives.
Location:
This role will be in our NYC office, in a hybrid capacity for three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive persona-based content strategy that aligns with the buyer's journey and Dashlane’s overall marketing and business goals.
- Oversee the editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with thought leadership, campaigns, marketing moments, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
- Lead a team of content strategists and writers including external freelancers, content partners and agencies as needed.
- Develop strategy and KPIs for the Dashlane blog, manage execution and measurement, driving consistent engaging content that supports company priorities.
- Drive the strategy, topics and support content development to expand and refine the B2B Webinar program.
- Support the development of customer-facing sales enablement content.
- Analyze content performance metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and improve ROI.
- Develop and manage the content budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, PR and Growth Marketing, to ensure content meets the needs of all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in content creation, strategy, and management in B2B Tech
Nice-to-haves:
- Strong preference for experience in Cybersecurity
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement, thought leadership and achieve business objectives.
- Experience in developing content for B2B cybersecurity technical buying personas, with a deep understanding of the industry's specific requirements.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of brand voice.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to content optimization and performance analysis
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to document and manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with SEO requirements, ensuring all content is aligned with SEO strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Salary Range: $142,000 - $165,000 in base salary
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of total compensation package that also includes benefits, and other opportunities at Dashlane. We also include equity in all compensation packages and believe 100% of Dashlaners should have an option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from what we hope will be a lot of upside growth.
Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Dashlaners. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at Dashlane to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors.
