AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail to be based in New York, New York area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group. 

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform project management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area
• Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
• Responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement
• Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets
• Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects
• Ability to coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners
• Project types includes Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build
• Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs, provide guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits  

Minimum Requirements: 

• BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Professional Engineer License
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills 

Preferred Requirements : 

• 15 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit
• 10 Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills 
• Experience with coordinating systems design
