Your impact:
Elle is looking for a senior social media editor who can help grow the brand's many digital platforms: Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, Apple News, and more. This position will work on all day-to-day operations critical to the brand's social strategy. The ideal candidate is a savvy strategist who knows how to utilize social platforms and has experience managing large social audiences and producing creative social content.

What you'll do:
- Create content for and post to the brand's Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram accounts
- Monitor social media platforms and communicate audience feedback
- Work with various editorial teams to create and execute on social-first initiatives
- Develop new and innovative strategies for growing social presence
- Work with branded content and partnership teams to produce, edit, and execute paid programs
Who you are:
- 6+ years of post-grad social media experience, preferably for a consumer editorial brand
- Strong editorial judgment and clean writing skills
- Keen understanding of the brand's voice
- Must love spotting and trying the newest social trends
- Proficiency with social platforms (including TikTok, Twitch, and other emerging platforms) and tools (including SocialFlow, Google Analytics, and CrowdTangle)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Able to work nights and weekends as needed
- Bachelor's degree in journalism or other relevant area
The base salary for this role is between $74,000 and $89,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
