About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Technology Business Systems Consultant to partner with business and technology stakeholders to lead business analysis activities and deliver effective system solutions. This role elicits and documents product and business requirements, translating them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira. The consultant evaluates simple to moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges, and collaborates across teams to define cost-effective, scalable technology solutions while ensuring clear communication and alignment between business and technology
In this role, you will:
  • Lead or participate in providing technology initiatives for simple to moderately complex business problems within technology business systems
  • Contribute to the development of systems and procedures that are both cost effective and meet the relevant business requirements
  • Evaluate moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of planning and direction conducted to resolve complex business problems
  • Partner with business and technology teams to evaluate moderately complex business problems and lead a team to provide comprehensive technological solutions
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition or improvement to re-engineer technical processes
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to evaluate and resolve issues in order to provide technological solutions and manage both project schedules and deliverables, managing multiple priorities at a time
  • Coordinate communication and information flow between business and technology teams
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Advanced Loan IQ Business Systems Data experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Experience in business systems analysis supporting technology solutions
  • Experience booking and/or servicing commercial lending transactions, including syndicated, bilateral, or member deals
  • Experience eliciting and documenting business and product requirements and translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and iterative delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience using Jira (or similar tools) to manage requirements, user stories, defect management and backlog activities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with business and technology teams
  • Hands on Loan IQ experience (BA, QA, production support, or operations); front-end and data model knowledge
  • Ability to support production support inquiries, including issue triage, impact assessment, root cause analysis, and coordination with business, technology, and vendor teams to drive resolution
  • SQL for analysis and validation; Loan IQ schema preferred
  • Experience creating process flows, system diagrams, and documentation using Microsoft Visio
  • Commercial lending lifecycle experience (syndicated/bilateral/member deals)
  • Requirements, testing, and UAT support experience
  • Global/multi-currency lending exposure
  • Process improvement or PMP/Lean/Six Sigma a plus
