As a Senior Web Analytics Lead on the Growth Operations team, you’ll play a key role in helping make ClassPass a world-class Growth Engine. You will build foundational web analytics & tracking capabilities, conduct a variety of experiments & tests to optimize our website & conversions, and prepare analyses that will inform & guide the strategic direction of our acquisition efforts.

Analytical rigor, creativity, and strategic thinking are essential, but we’ll also need you to get your hands dirty to help drive real, sustainable impact. You should expect to work cross-functionally, with team members in Product, Engineering, and Marketing to drive change and lasting impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead web and mobile app analytics reporting, including identifying and tracking KPIs for website user flow, funnel, page load, page scroll, and web feature engagement
  • Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website KPIs in various weekly and monthly Dashboard formats (page views, clicks, conversion, etc.)
  • Own traffic source analysis across device type, browser, location, and marketing channel across the funnel from homepage to category page to product page, cart and checkout
  • Partner with Web/CRO and Product teams on website A/B experimentation; drive test design, measurement and results reporting
  • Act as an internal expert on GA capabilities, and ensure GA accuracy and account customization; assist in QA’ing creative and functional tagging throughout the site; oversee tag management services and ensure integrity
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product / Engineering stakeholders to ensure proper tracking, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and refine obsolete implementations
  • Communicate with various stakeholders and identify the potential analytics impact for major web / acquisition related initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, behavioral economics or science, psychology, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years working with Google Analytics, Google Console and other relevant web metrics and trend analytics tools.
  • 5+ years working with marketing, product, and analytics teams to produce insights and communicate recommendations and issues.
  • 3+ years experience segmenting users and audience via analytics. Familiar with different targeting tools and data mapping practices.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Certifications
  • Familiarity with visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)
  • Understanding of JavaScript-based data collection.
  • Ability to understand Javascript, HTML and write simple SQL.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
