ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer responsible for collaborating and working across multiple business domains at Rightway, defining data and analytical models, and developing tools and products to create a single source of truth around Rightway’s data. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our analytics infrastructure, onboarding new data sources and optimizing existing data sources and packaging the data in a way that promotes seamless reporting while paving a way for innovation through advanced analytics. This role will involve delivering and analyzing data for various analytics use cases within our Unified Data Warehouse (UDW) and productionalizing AI and ML solutions through the curated data to drive impactful healthcare insights.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Hands on experience in Analytics and Data Engineering concepts with the ability to solve problems in fast-paced demanding business environments through data.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines from various sources to prototype and productionalize KPIs and metrics in our Unified Data Warehouse (UDW).
- Strong business acumen (preferable in the health-tech space), in addition to possessing excellent business partnering and collaboration skills.
- Drive self-service and data literacy for business users on our data platform by creating and documenting data marts and semantic layers to enable dashboard development.
- Work closely with data engineers, data analysts, product teams and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver impactful analytics solutions.
- Continuously optimize data processing and storage solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
- Develop automated processes for data validation, cleaning, and transformation to ensure high data quality and consistency.
- Contribute in enabling operational efficiency, increased accountability and ownership by adding a layer of data governance and guardrails around the analytics infrastructure.
- Experienced with developing data tools, memos, and presentations to deliver data and insights to stakeholders.
- Integrate AI models into data warehousing and analytics workflows to enhance data-driven decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes. Experience implementing and operationalizing machine learning models for predictive business outcomes is a plus.
WHO YOU ARE:
- 5 to 7 years working in data analytics and analytics engineering.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL and statistical programming (Python, R).
- Expert-level proficiency in DBT (data build tool).
- Adept in version control and data orchestration platforms like Airflow, Glue, Stitch.
- Experience in cloud platforms (preferably in AWS) and hands-on experience in cloud data warehouses (Redshift or Snowflake).
- Experience in dimensional modeling and defining star/snowflake schemas to create a foundation for reporting.
- 1-2 years experience in identifying AI/ML use cases and operationalizing them at scale.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand, tackle, and solve problems from both technical and business perspectives.
- Experienced with developing data tools, memos, and presentations to deliver data and insights to stakeholders.

SALARY (BEFORE COMMISSION POTENTIAL): $160,000
