We're looking for a tech-savvy, innovative and people-forward Head of IT to lead our company's technological initiatives and ensure our technology is aligned with our mission to protect the world from bots. As the Head of IT, you'll be responsible for driving the development and implementation of technology strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
In this role, you will be working with a team of talented engineers, and you must be familiar with common SAAS apps such as Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, etc. You should be comfortable with both the technical and business aspects of information technology and have a strong track record of delivering results. What you'll do:
- Collaborate with departmental leaders to define the IT objectives that support the overall business strategy.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a global team of IT professionals. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging continuous improvement and professional development.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership when necessary, addressing critical issues and guiding the implementation of new systems.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and meet functional objectives.
- Work with stakeholders to identify technology needs and provide solutions to support the company's goals and objectives.
- Ensure that the company's technology and data security practices meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the company's technology and services budget and ensure that technology investments align with the company's goals and objectives ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the SAAS industry and evaluate their potential impact on the company.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Work with security to ensure a secure IT infrastructure
- Day to day IT work with the team - this is a hands-on role
Who you are:
- Leadership with empathy, someone who can balance business needs while fostering a fun and engaging work environment.
- Experience leading a SaaS company's IT department
- Deep expertise with identity management in a purely cloud based IT environment.
- You have a track record of stepping up and leading successful complex IT projects, including rolling out new IT platforms
- Prior experience working in organizations with global compliance requirements (ISO and SOC).
- Excellent leadership, management, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global organization and with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to think strategically and provide solutions that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Prior experience or certifications with ITIL or PMP are a plus
The base pay range for this position is $200,000- $240,000 which can include additional on-target bonus and/or incentives. The base pay offered may vary depending on location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Stock options and other incentive pay may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position ultimately offered.
