The Streaming and Interactive Entertainment group builds a global streaming platform that includes a suite of applications and platform capabilities to support all our brands. This platform covers Search, Content Recommendations, Browse Experience, Personalization, Catalog, Video, Subscriptions, and more. We build for connected TVs, web, mobile phones, tablets, and consoles for a large footprint of products and brands (Max, discovery+, Food Network, CNN, Golf TV, MotorTrend, Eurosport, and many more) This is a global product and engineering group crucial to WBD's future.
In this role we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Product Manager to join our dynamic Content Discovery product team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in deeply understanding customer's content discovery habits and needs to create and manage features that directly drives user re-engagement and habituality on Max globally.
Your efforts will help us scale to >100m customers and solidify Max's spot as a worldwide top 3 streaming company. You will be a key member of the Core Product team responsible for evolving and innovating our streaming services Max and discovery+.
The ideal candidate will have strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for WBD's mission. The ideal candidate will consistently advocate on behalf of the customer, leveraging data, customer feedback, and innovative thinking to deliver the best product features and enhancements.
Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Translate customer needs and business goals into product features, creating value for both stakeholders and customers, and convey our product roadmap in a clear, actionable way to engineering and stakeholders.
  • Proactively ideate on customer browse paths, user feedback, and engagement data to understand how we can improve habituality within the Max product.
  • Coordinate with content, merchandising, marketing, design, engineering, research and analytics as we launch new product features and enhancements.
  • Explore new areas of opportunities to drive value and growth goals forward and coordinate with key stakeholders to prioritize and lead the changes.
  • Monitor existing metrics, develop and propose new metrics, and work across the organization to ensure we are tracking towards KPIs and OKRs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs and behaviors of our subscribers, using data and research to inform product decisions.
  • Communicate vision, strategy, objectives and KPIs for new features with ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Lead the creation of product roadmaps and prioritize features based on business impact and subscriber value.
  • Showcase pro-active and creative product thinking with interest in understanding user challenges in an evolving environment.
  • Drive product launches, working closely with marketing, customers service, and other teams to ensure successful execution and adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, content, design, and data science to understand business and customer needs, and translate that into feature requirements, KPIs.
  • Bring analytic and data-driven rigor to decision making when launching features, running a/b experiments, and analyzing customer behavior.

Qualifications & Experience...

  • 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in the streaming / media space.
  • Experience driving habituality and repeat customer engagement in a product.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and execute a product roadmap and experiments with sound judgement in addressing and resolving challenges and opportunities.
  • Experience managing an A/B test backlog and continually iterating on test ideas to continue to improve the product.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail and ability to oversee multiple workstreams.
  • Strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to solving practical problems.
  • Proven experience understanding customer journeys and dedication to putting the customer first.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self-starter with ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven success identifying behavior trends to deliver recommendations on best customer experience.
  • Solid understanding of the competitive landscape and experience with subscriber products is required.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
