We are building a team of experienced sellers focused on digital sales for LinkNYC. As Strategic Account Executive, you are responsible for driving revenue growth by building new client relationships and helping expand existing client relationships in an assigned category (i.e. Retail, Tech, Telecom, FinServ, and Consumer). 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain lasting and profitable relationships with new and existing customers in order to drive revenue.
  • Generate new business by cold calling, seeking out leads and meeting with clients and agencies.
  • Prepare detailed proposals in order to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
  • Evaluate client needs by managing a structured and consultative sales process, creating relevant solutions tailored to specific client objectives.
  • Strategize with internal data and research specialists to create valid and thoughtful recommendations for all client pitches.
  • Use Nielsen and TAB audience measurement data to pitch Intersection’s digital media against other media, including online and TV.
  • Create, pitch and sell advertorial and content solutions.
  • Sell Intersection’s mobile products to clients, as well as mobile and digital agencies.
  • Support Intersection’s goal to drive revenue from a new constituency of buyers, by accessing digital budgets.

Requirements:

  • Proven relationships with digital and mobile agencies, as well as clients direct
  • Strong track record of developing and maintaining a multi-million dollar account list
  • Effective and engaging presentation skills
  • Intelligent, inquisitive and passionate about advertising
  • Creative thinker
  • Fluent in research
  • Highly energetic, innovative and driven
