A bit about the job
We’re looking for a talented Strategic Partnerships Manager to join our Affiliates & Partnerships team in New York.
- The top end of our partnerships portfolio is currently driving 10% of our business growth. Your main goal is to use new and existing verticals to expand this and introduce as many people and businesses to TransferWise as possible.
- You'll spend most of your time finding exciting new partners for us to work with and negotiating the best deals for both sides.
- You’ll help the team think of new types of partnership verticals (white labels, API partnerships, etc.) we can tap into. This will involve closing test deals to make sure the customer journey makes sense and developing ways to scale your process.
- You will need to use your product brain to develop an understanding of how our partners and customers think, what they need, and how we can best reach them. The end result would be developing a product or customer journey with a high conversion rate.
- We’re a cross-functional team, so you’ll work side-by-side with marketing, product, engineering and the business team to make sure your efforts translate into meaningful impact for all our customers.
A bit about you
- You have an innate understanding of how to grow a business and an eye for opportunity
- You’re super proactive at forming tailored partnerships, and can give us concrete examples of where you’ve fully integrated with partners to bring in new users
- You’re comfortable with autonomy and taking ownership of projects, but you’re also ready to help a team member in need
- You’re not satisfied until you can be sure a project will have a real impact on our customers, and you’re continually testing to get the best outcome
- You can summarise the complex and can convince anyone to promote your product, fast
- You have a head for numbers, a knack for extracting key insights from data, and a clear understanding of the financial models behind big partnership deals
- It would be a huge plus if you’ve had hands-on experience of developing strategy and closing white-label and tech integrated deals.
