DESCRIPTION

We are expanding our NYC-based team to follow and accelerate our growth. You will be instrumental to growing our NYC team, with a first, short-term objective to grow from 15 to 30+ people over the shortest period of time possible (6-9 months max)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify, source and filter relevant candidates to join our key functions in NYC : Sales, Success, Support, Marketing, Partnerships, Admin & Ops
  • Drive and coordinate interview process, set and improve guidelines for hiring methods and criteria, communicate across the team our values and work ethics
  • Accompany onboarding process of each candidate to ensure the fastest ramp-up possible
  • Sync with your counterpart in Paris to exchange best practices and improve your hiring techniques

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have at least 1+ year of experience in hiring or HR support and are passionate about building high-performing teams for a software business
  • You have a โ€œno task is too smallโ€ attitude and the endurance to consistently deliver amazing customer experiences without exception
  • You have great written and oral communication skills. You know how to engage and convince. You have intuition and rationality to assess candidates
  • You have strong people skills โ€” you are friendly, a good listener, you ask good questions, and you're energized by personal interaction. You see angry customers as a chance to show them just how great you can be at solving their issues
  • You are a team player who works well with a wide range of personalities and is ready to contribute to an awesome team environment
  • You have a solid resistance to stress. You will be very much loved by the team because you help us all work a bit less, but you'll be on fire from every side
  • Perfect fluent English is mandatory, but additional business fluent languages, particularly French, is a plus

What does your typical day look like?

My favorite part of the week is well, closing, closing, and closing. While the end of the month can sometimes be stressful, it is fulfilling working towards a goal and achieving it over and over again. As I have started working larger deal, it has been a fun new challenge as I have to be on top of my game.

What are some things you learned at the company?

I've learned Product Marketing is like a long-distance relay race, where the baton is the product and the track is the wider market. The first lap is all about the customer and market research. During the second lap, we pass the baton top the Product team and to build and manage that solution. Then during the third, it's all about going to market.
