We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Solutions Operations Engineer (TSOE) to support the global Technical Solutions (TS) organization, building and maintaining our internal tooling and workflows.
Datadog's TS org is composed of 800+ customer-facing technical experts around the world from Sales Engineers, Technical Account Managers to Support Engineers that work with prospects and customers across their journey with Datadog to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive growth through rapid product adoption.

What You'll Do:
- Design and oversee the implementation of technology tools & systems (Zendesk, JIRA, etc.) that enable TS teams to efficiently and effectively achieve their KPIs and strategic goals.
- Develop and maintain system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process maps, and other documentation to ensure our technology systems are well-designed and efficient.
- Develop & maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
- Work with stakeholders to identify technical needs and translate them into requirements, then evaluate and recommend technology solutions that best meet our business objectives.
- Work a hybrid model of 3-5 days in office per week.
Who You Are:
- Technical background with educational experience in computer science, information systems, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in Business Systems Engineering or Operations, with 1+ year experience in Zendesk Support Administration or a similar ticketing system
- The following experience a strong plus:
- Proficiency in python
- Zendesk Support Certified
- Proficient in JIRA and a Workforce Management platform
- Experienced in supporting Sales Engineering and Technical Professional Services teams
- Proven ability to learn & manage different technologies and systems
- Interested in problem solving and you enjoy automating processes
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and have a desire for continuous learning
- A critical thinker who defaults to a client-centric approach
- A thorough and effective communicator and you pride yourself on your meticulous documentation
Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
