We’re looking for a video-first content creator to curate, create, and manage content for our TikTok account.  Your mission will be to attract and engage our audience, increase followers, drive user interaction, and elevate our brand's presence on the platform. You'll work closely with the Brand Marketing & Creative teams to ensure that all content aligns with our values, voice, and creative vision.

  • You’re a self-motivated content creator with a passion for short-form video and social trends.
  • You love to keep your finger on the pulse of emerging social and cultural trends.
  • You’re confident in pitching and executing brand-right ideas  and even more confident executing them. You can shoot, edit, animate video — all on your iPhone. You’re nimble with audio, animation, and graphics, and can work under reactive timelines to keep up with the social landscape.
  • You’re a culture sponge, with a pulse on shopping and retail, and obsessed with what’s happening in the different spaces we occupy – social, retail, fashion, pop culture.
  • You’re comfortable working with a low-fi budget and quick turnarounds while staying creatively elevated and on-brand.


  • Content Creation: Conceptualize, produce, and edit engaging TikTok videos that resonate with our target audience. Collaborate with the Creative team to bring fresh and innovative ideas to life.
  • Content Curation: Monitor TikTok trends, hashtags, creators and challenges to identify opportunities for relevant and trending content that aligns with our brand.
  • Creator Management & Partnership: Identify, build, and maintain strategic relationships with content creators to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with our TikTok community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions. Foster positive interactions to build a loyal and enthusiastic audience.
  • Social Content Creation: Lean into creating platform-relevant content for additional social channels (Instagram) when needed.
  • Platform Growth: Develop strategies to increase follower count, reach, and engagement on the TikTok platform. Analyze data and metrics to optimize content performance.
  • Content Calendar Management: Assist in planning and maintaining a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule while ensuring content diversity and relevance.
  • Brand Alignment: Ensure that all content adheres to the brand's guidelines, tone, and style. Work closely with the Brand Marketing team to ensure brand consistency across platforms.
  • Competitive Research: Monitor competitor activity on TikTok and identify opportunities for differentiation and improvement.
  • Innovation and Trends: Stay up-to-date with emerging TikTok trends, features, and best practices. Implement innovative strategies to stay ahead in the fast-paced social media landscape.
  • Cross-platform Integration: Collaborate with other platform managers to align content efforts across various social media platforms.


  • Passion for TikTok: A deep understanding and love for the TikTok platform, with a strong sense of its culture, trends, and community.
  • Creativity: A creative mind with the ability to ideate and execute engaging and viral content concepts.
  • Video Editing Skills: Proficiency in video editing software and apps, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or TikTok's built-in editing tools.
  • Social Media Savvy: Familiarity with other social media platforms and an understanding of how content resonates across different channels.
  • Data-Driven: Basic analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for content optimization.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Strong teamwork and communication skills, as you will be working closely with other content creators and departments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing social media environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Resourceful and quick-thinking to address challenges and find creative solutions.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in social media content creation, especially on TikTok, is preferred. 
  • 1 year experience in a professional environment required.

  • Salary range of $70,000 - $75,000 *This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other MW employees.
