We are at the beginning of a new market for education and knowledge that combines old and new information to change the way people make decisions about learning. At Noodle, we’re collecting and organizing a massive amount of data on the world’s educational opportunities in an effort to help people find the right path for themselves and their children so they can spend less time worrying about the options and more time learning.
Come help us build a world class user experience allowing people around the world to search and explore millions of schools, institutions, tutors, experts, classes, resources, and enrichment opportunities. We are looking for a designer that shares our passion for helping people learn smarter through the right tools and great design.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Designing and delivering great user experiences.
  • Conceptualizing and polishing interfaces for our website and other properties
  • Collaborating with our engineers to iterate on and solve tough product challenges with clean interfaces and experiences.
  • Identifying and addressing usability issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 3+ years of design experience (previous mobile work is a huge plus)
  • Knowledge of HTML and CSS techniques
  • Love giving and receiving honest, thoughtful feedback
  • Believe that product and design decisions are inextricably linked
  • Enjoy shipping small, quick experiments to validate your ideas and opinions
  • Unafraid to have your opinion changed (strong beliefs, loosely held)
  • Have an established, repeatable and shareable design process that encourages collaboration between other designers and product teams

WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT HERE

  • Join a diverse team that wants to build software that brings the value of a guidance counselor to everyone in the world.
  • Competitive salary and stock options
  • Health, dental and vision insurance
  • Flexible and generous vacation policy, paid holidays off
  • Technology to do your job successfully: new computer and (practically) whatever else you need
  • Pre-tax commuter benefits
  • Offices in Manhattan’s Chelsea Piers with a steeply discounted membership to the Sports Center
