About the Role
The Rx Marketplace team is seeking a dynamic and solution-oriented Vice President to develop and implement key company revenue growth strategies to improve GoodRx alignment with industry partners and elevate the GoodRx product experience with both patients and pharmacy team members at the retail pharmacy counter. (i.e. e-prescribing, patient profile management, payment methods, real-
time pricing availability).
The ideal candidate is a driven and highly motivated leader with demonstrated history in healthcare technology services, product innovation, business development, and strategic partnerships. This role is ideal for a collaborative leader and problem solver who thrives in cross-functional environments and can quickly identify and resolve barriers. This candidate will report to our SVP & Pharmacy Strategy Officer and lead cross-functional efforts to unlock new revenue opportunities.
Job Description

  • Leads cross functional internal teams (product, engineering, design, network, data science)
  • Partners with retail pharmacies to improve price seeking activities within the pharmacy workflow, ultimately enhancing the GoodRx product experience and to embed GoodRx brand buydown programs into retail claims adjudication
  • Identifies and develops a streamlined patient experience accessing GoodRx affordability solutions at the pharmacy counter
  • Develops solutions to mitigate Rx abandonment due to affordability issues, yielding more Rx volume for retail pharmacy partners, greater patient savings opportunities and increased billable transactions for GoodRx
  • Develops the strategy for GoodRx switch connectivity and identifies which internal and external switch configurations / partners optimize the needs of each business unit
  • Owns the management of key switch partners relationships (i.e. Change Health, CoverMyMeds, RedSail) through regular communications and periodic business reviews
  • Responsible for all contracting efforts with switch partners


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, in strategy/innovation roles,
  • College degree required, MBA preferred
  • PBM/Retail pharmacy/healthcare experience required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner


At GoodRx, pay ranges are determined based on work locations and may vary based on where the successful candidate is hired. The pay ranges below are shown as a guideline, and the successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and other relevant business and organizational factors. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Please contact your recruiter for additional information.
San Francisco and Seattle Offices:
$252,000.00 - $402,000.00
New York Office:
$231,000.00 - $369,000.00
Santa Monica Office:
$210,000.00 - $335,000.00
Other Office Locations:
$189,000.00 - $302,000.00
