As the Technology Procurement Lead you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and developing purchasing strategies which meet both the budgetary and other operational requirements of Collibra. This role will focus on optimizing technology spend and rightsizing the supplier base for this category. You will be the subject matter expert for everything IT as it relates to our current business partnerships. The ideal candidate for this role will be an expert in P2P processes, technology based spend and project management.

Work on high-visibility projects (e.g. text and video tutorials, use-case examples, contributions to our engineering blog). Participate in research and user engagement to deliver polished technical content, documentation, and resources. Conduct various data science analysis and activities in order to generate reproduce-able, valuable, and up-to-date resources for public-facing sites (our website, social channels, etc). Own cross-functional interactions for your projects (across eng/marketing/field/sales).

We are looking for the very first hire onto our Developer Relations team at Cockroach Labs. Reporting to our VP of Engineering, the Developer Advocate will have the opportunity to define and create our developer and customer advocacy program that will help identify and amplify the unique ways people use our products. In this role, you will focus on building a community of CockroachDB users and building expertise/advocacy within our users so that they will organically speak about and recommend CockroachDB to their peers. You’ll do this by curating developer-oriented content and hands-on development work, including coding integrations, sample applications & tools and fixing bugs. Listening to the needs of developers is key, as is acting as a conduit between developers and our engineering and product teams. Being able to explain technical material at both a high level and a detailed level is imperative.
