LeafLink is looking for a Director of Product Design to join our growing team in New York City, reporting directly to our co-founder and CTO. This role will be responsible for leading, growing, and structuring our product design team to work with various customers and internal teams on prototyping and creating a world-class design system. At the highest level, this role will help instill LeafLink’s values into our product design org and all user experiences.  This role is for a hands-on individual who leads by example. You will be responsible for using the latest design tools and practices to streamline our design thinking, culture, and velocity. You are a good fit for this position if you have experience collaborating and communicating with multiple stakeholders on project expectations, concepts, and timelines.

LeafLink is seeking a Brand Design Director to join our fast-growing team. In this role, you will set creative direction and lead a high-functioning design team within the marketing organization. You will be tasked with evolving the visual identity of LeafLink’s brand and collaborating with the Product Design organization to ensure it’s conveyed through both our marketing campaigns and our platform. This role works directly with all marketing stakeholders to ensure consistency across channels.  To be successful in this role, you should be excited about creating a best-in-class visual brand, developing a team of talented designers, and getting your hands dirty in the weeds of our design queue. You’ll bring creativity and leadership to formalize our design team and processes. As an early member of a growing team, you should thrive on flexibility and taking on new projects outside of your comfort zone.

Develop strategic plans with the senior leadership team, assessing key problems and opportunities. Articulate user journeys with scenarios, storyboards, low/high fidelity mockups and prototypes to communicate and validate design ideas. Create inspired product designs with a minimalistic and sleek style that simplifies complex concepts. Validate concepts and obtain feedback comprehensively across internal, external, and third party stakeholders. Utilize user behavior data and interviews to drive the product feedback, idea validation, and product improvement loop. Work with our engineering team from validation through production to help them deliver pixel-perfect products. Be comfortable independently handling most of the product design requirements (UI/UX) in the short-term and set the foundation for building out the design team. Lead strategic design thinking in all areas of business, whether you are brainstorming on a new product, prototyping on the latest mockups, implementing user feedback, or designing marketing material.
