Nicole Shimer is a member of the Investment Team at Insight Venture Partners, a private equity and venture capital firm based in NYC. Insight has managed over $20bn since 1995 and invested in over 300 software and internet companies.

Sue-Ellen Watts is known for her success building an Australia born consulting firm helping small to medium businesses and fast growth startups create high performance from the top down. Her expertise is dealing with Founders and entrepreneurs because she is one; now she has taken her expertise to New York City to ramp up her knowledge sharing. In addition, she is a Co-Founder of two tech startups that are both leading the way in their respective industries. A true entrepreneur, Sel challenges the status quo to create business for the future. The Unconventional Life weekly vlog is Sel’s way of sharing her journey of expanding her brands globally, chasing a dream and ‘having a crack’ at living a “no plan b” life. Her latest venture, wattsnextpx, has brought her to New York City.

Amy Coveny is a Managing Partner Quake Capital Partners. Amy Coveny has extensive experience in building revenue, products, and market strategies for startup companies. Since the beginning of her career in TV, she has contributed to six acquisitions, three IPOs, and two early-stage fundraising cycles. During her tenure as the Global Head of Audio for Rubicon Project, she worked with Spotify to extend programmatic Audio to international audiences. Her years as Vice President of Catch5 saw her develop a video content syndication model in the health and wellness space to customize the brand experience. Amy has been an Advisor to Quake Capital since the launch of its accelerator program, providing market insights and tips to companies such as pippa.io, eSports, DataGran, Frenzy, and UniversityBeyond. With experiences in media, AdTech, emerging technology, and sales globally, Amy has played an instrumental part in a variety of successful ventures. Consistently ahead of the curve, she knows what it takes for startups to reach--and exceed--their goals. As a Managing Partner of the New York office, Amy will grow and expand Quake Capital’s Accelerator program, Investor Network, and Fundraising.
