Your Impact:
Hearst Magazines is seeking a Copywriter to join the creative team working on Consumer Marketing across all Hearst brands. This position will work closely with teams across the Consumer Group to write and edit copy across various marketing channels, including print and digital advertising, emails, and marketing collateral. In this position, you will work in a fast-paced environment and closely partner with the creative and consumer marketing teams to create best-in-class copy for Hearst brands. This will require flexibility and creativity in aptly understanding each brand's voice, tone, and needs.

What You Will Do
- Write and edit copy for all mediums, including digital, print, audio and video, out-of-home, etc.
- Champion our 25+ brands' voice and tone across all consumer touch points.
- Partner with content marketing, social media, events, performance marketing, books, and creator partnerships to bring our brand voice to life in a non-Frankenstein way.
- Conduct copy audits for each brand, developing new positioning statements and unique selling points.
- Lead the copy conversation with internal partners, edit other people's work, and be a stickler for details.
- Demonstrate creative thought leadership, keeping ahead of trends and providing proactive inspiration and recommendations.
- Update process documents and brand guidelines to ensure work is streamlined across multiple teams.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years of experience as an advertising/marketing copywriter at agencies, studios, or in-house.
- A portfolio that shows strategic and conceptual campaign thinking applied across various deliverables.
- Impeccable writing craft and a love for the Oxford comma.
- Deep understanding of social platforms and digital storytelling.
- Audio and video scriptwriting are a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot quickly.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, communicate progress, and work independently.
- Must be able to change your voice to match different brand's style guidelines.
- A sense of humor and a great attitude.
The base salary for this role is between $64,000 and $74,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
