Description
Design Thinking is a framework for solving problems using research to challenge assumptions and iterate rapidly on an idea. Human-Centered Design puts humans, communities, and environments at the center of the design process, building interventions with and not for them. While design thinking is largely used by tech companies, nonprofits can benefit from leveraging these principles in their program and project designs, whether they use tech or not.
This day-long training will use Human-Centered Design methodologies, such as user personas, journey mapping, and rapid ideation, in order to help nonprofits create a roadmap to improve their work.
