EquityZen is looking for an experienced Deputy/Associate General Counsel to manage corporate legal matters, provide advice on new product development, handle legal issues, manage the legal budget, develop template agreements, ensure legal compliance, and more. The ideal candidate will have a law degree, active New York bar membership, 7+ years of experience in complex commercial matters, and expertise in securities and regulatory law, particularly in unregistered offerings and private markets.

Develop and maintain financial models, prepare financial reporting, support accounting operations, own AR and AP operations, support audit and tax filing processes, and implement process improvements for the Finance function.

Manage deal process/execution, communicate with clients and investors, optimize deal processes, design and execute data analytics, and handle ad hoc projects. Requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and an undergraduate degree.
