In this role you will have ownership of digital signal technology, leveraging your experience to quickly build, test and verify prototypes for the future creation of Newell products on the IoT Stack.  Successful candidates will need extensive experience in the following areas:

• Analog/Digital circuit design and simulation
• Analog front-end sensor architecture and mixed-signal product applications, evaluation, digital
• Signal processing and system integration, specializing in front-end sensor support and signal processing
• Know-how of current state-of-the-art in MEMS based sensor technology
• Exposure and advanced knowledge in analog, digital and power electronics and embedded engineering
• Extensive experience in analyzing, modeling and designing wireless transceiver blocks including power amplifiers and voltage controlled oscillators
• HW component test/evaluation/characterization
• HF low-noise mass volume semiconductor applications with firmware control
• Familiar with all high performance bench and lab test equipment including ATE environments
• Extensive knowledge of Computer Architecture and microprocessor pipeline design.
• Knowledge and experience with various Wireless & IOT (Edge, BLE Mesh) : Enterprise WLAN, WWAN short range, Wifi, BLE (Mesh), Edge technologies
• Experience in all phases of product development from concept design to production release.
• Experience in PCB design, board layout and board and system debugging
• Schedule tracking for new features implementations and delivery commitments
• Strong knowledge of lab testing and measurement equipment
• Works well in a team or as an individual contributor

Nice to haves:

• Experience with low-power wireless technologies eg BLE, LoRA, NB-IOT, low-power WiFi
• Experience with platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Arduino, DataQ, LabView. Ability to meaningfully process this data from the cloud using the right analytical tools and be able to derive meaningful actions out of it.
• Ability to understand and implement this information back into a consumption layer for impactful decision making
• Knowledge and implementation experience with messaging protocols, low level and higher level including
• ○ ZWave ○ MQTT ○ AMQP
• Proficient in design and development of complex digital circuits, register files, SRAMs, and I/O circuits using cadence opus tools and automated design synthesis.
