So you want to be a BuzzFeed Brand Design Intern?
You will work within the Marketing Team as part of the Design crew to create materials for both on- and offline promotions. The Brand Design Team values our interns for their strong design sensibility and promotes their professional development during the term. A graphic design internship at BuzzFeed primes you for future in-house work at other companies or with advertising agencies.
The Role
Work as a BuzzFeed team member to comprehensively create and utilize brand deliverables such as identity, logo-marks / logotypes, iconography, illustrations, color palettes, patterns, packaging and product design elements when needed.
Collaborate with the marketing department and support campaigns with design solutions.
Learn from industry leading designers and how to apply design theory to a wide range of projects.
Prior experience creating graphics and a solid grasp of design thinking.
Comfortable working in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Enthusiasm for the design process and attentiveness to different project goals
The Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year Program
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize quick demands and deadlines
An interest in current events, pop culture, and social media
Must include a link to a portfolio site of your recent work, no PDFs or dropbox links please
