The Role:
Rocketrip seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst who combines technical expertise with strategic vision to find data-driven insights and solutions for our company. The right candidate will be fast-moving and goal-oriented, recognizing that our clients and senior management depend on your analyses to drive business forward.
This position will work collaboratively across multiple departments. The candidate needs to be comfortable with high levels of responsibility, able to turn conceptual direction into actionable insights and push our team's thinking forward. What you'll do:- Analyze large data sets of travel-related information to understand client behavior and uncover trends
- Create in-depth reports for Rocketrip clients to convey how Rocketrip is working for them and where there are opportunities for improvement
- Prepare pre-sales ROI analyses that convey how Rocketrip can save prospective clients on their T&E spend; participate in sales calls as our team's data expert
- Perform longer-term research that is used for everything from marketing articles to improving our budgeting algorithm
- A bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of work experience in strategy consulting, data analysis, or a relevant field
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Tableau, or SQL is a must; experience with R, Pandas, and statistical analysis is a plus
- Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and handle multiple projects at a time, acting both independently and as part of a team
- Meticulously detail-oriented and able to distill large amounts of data into a beautifully-presented, meaningful story
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
