BuzzFeed is looking for a smart, detail-oriented, highly organized individual to support our Client Services team. We're a new kind of media company for the social world. Our technology powers the social distribution of content, detects what is trending on the web, and connects people in real-time with the hottest content of the moment. Our site is a rapidly growing hub for media that reaches over 200 million monthly unique visitors and 1 billion monthly video views.

The Client Services Coordinator will support a team of Client Service Managers on key accounts to ensure our clients’ programs run smoothly and successfully.

This is an entry-level position, well suited to an individual looking to break into a new kind of digital media. A bachelor's degree either in marketing, advertising, or business field is preferable. Relevant professional or internship experience is also desired.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a dynamic environment, will bring energy and passion to everything they do, and will not be afraid to roll up his/her sleeves to tackle projects both big and small. Candidates must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities in a day. Responsibilities:

  • Provide overall client service and administrative support for the Account Management team.
  • Manage deliverables, requests, and document communication with key clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to track deliverables across cross-functional groups (creative, reporting, etc.) and manage deadlines and program schedules to ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Work with BuzzFeed internal teams to coordinate regular or ad hoc reporting and associated analyses specific to BuzzFeed KPIs and unique client goals.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of internal tools and processes to become an expert on BuzzFeed ad products and ad specifications.
  • Support Account Managers to prepare client programs for launch.
  • Set up and maintain tracking tools and internal documents as requested for new client programs.
  • Utilize Keynote to prepare presentations for key meetings as well as custom reports for clients.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for internal and external meetings.

 

Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate preparedness, planning, and execution skills. Follow established processes and understands the importance of them. Seeks accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively through verbal, written, and non-verbal methods.
  • Possess strong quantitative and analytical skills as well as creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate integrity, respect, fun, inclusion, and fairness while taking on an active role in building and maintaining positive interactions with others.
  • Passionate about learning and becoming a subject matter expert on the BuzzFeed product and industry.
  • Possess general knowledge on social advertising space, exhibit genuine curiosity and take action to fulfill.
  • Able to adapt to different personalities and environments to get the job done. Can connect on a human level while balancing professionalism.
  • Ability to thrive and be highly effective in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Experience with DFP and/or other ad serving platforms is a plus
  • Experience with Keynote/PowerPoint as well as Excel reporting is also a plus
