Here’s where you come in: we need you to help us untangle the web of rich narratives currently intertwined together and stitch it back nicely into well packaged storylines. Then we want you to tell them to the world in a way that brings clarity around the issues and advances the conversation towards real life solutions.

Deliverables:

You will work hand in hand with the very people who are building great tools and products for our members, and then develop vertical storylines that clarify and advance Oscar’s business, namely, with the goal of delivering a member experience that is rooted in trust and personal touch.

You will also take part in building the architecture and roadmap for the company’s overall communications function and help shape our communications team culture.

What will you will focus on:

• Become a subject area master of the healthcare ecosystem, and how Oscar’s unique business model fits into it while differentiating itself from other healthcare providers and insurers
• Continuously seek out information and data about Oscar’s various products and services from an array of internal partners, then strategically develop narratives that support team and company goals
• Effectively craft and match multiple narratives designed to resonate with disparate types of external outlets and audiences
• Ensure that Oscar’s core brand values, vision, voice, and attributes are consistently reflected in all communications
• Develop materials including briefing documents, press releases, blog posts, social media posts consistent with Oscar’s voice and backed with solid proof points
• Help train and coach key Oscar employees to become effective company spokespeople
• Build and manage tracking grids and other pieces of infrastructure for team operations
