Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. We offer primary and urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.

Bond Vet is redefining veterinary care with its innovative urgent care clinics, and we are seeking a dedicated Community Marketing Associate to champion our marketing efforts in the local community. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our narrative, establishing partnerships, and building relationships with our neighbors. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model based in our office in Chelsea, New York City.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaborate with the local marketing team to plan, execute, and host local community events for both clients and prospective employees.
  • Research, develop, and foster partnerships with local businesses, schools, rescues, apartments and pet-friendly establishments, attending relevant events to cultivate relationships.
  • Serve as the ambassador of Bond Vet in the community, educating neighbors on our unique value proposition and distributing promotional materials.
  • Implement community marketing tactics to enhance brand awareness in the target neighborhoods
  • Capture photos and videos at events and clinics, posting on social media platforms as required.
  • Manage and develop inventory of promotional materials at storage facilities, clinics, and local businesses, ensuring materials are available for events and partnerships.
  • Manage inventory of retail items within clinics.
  • Assist in the setup of marketing materials for new clinic openings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of community outreach activities and provide insights to optimize future efforts.
  • Brainstorm and execute creative marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility and promote Bond Vet's mission.
  • Occasionally lead conference presence and logistics when events are located within your target market(s).

You Are:

  • Outgoing, confident, and adept at engaging with diverse groups of people.
  • Passionate about event planning and execution with a proven track record.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic environments.
  • A creative problem solver with a knack for generating innovative ideas.
  • Proficient in social media platforms and comfortable with a flexible schedule.
  • Tri-state based with access to a car and capable of lifting heavy objects.
  • A pet enthusiast with a genuine love for animals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in community outreach, partner marketing, event planning, or retail marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for developing impactful marketing strategies.
  • Proactive and collaborative team player with a resourceful mindset.

We Offer:

  • Support for your physical and mental wellness: medical, dental & vision plan options and access to mental health support programs
  • Time for you and loved ones: great PTO, fully paid parental leave over your time at Bond Vet, discounted Bond Vet services for pets
  • Dedication to your financial future: competitive pay, 401k with partial company match, commuter benefits.
  • A place to grow: culture that is centered in learning and development, career pathing, mentorships, empowerment and trust

Compensation will fall between $60,000-$75,000 annually based on experience
