Knewton is searching for a Data Analyst focusing on Sales, Marketing, and Implementation Automation. At Knewton you will work within our analytics team with other Data Scientists and Analysts to drive the adoption of the world's most advanced Adaptive Learning platform. Your job will be to identify leads and ensure customer success in our industry-leading education platform. You will be at the heart of business analysis for a product that changes students lives. A typical process we need you to drive is the organization of all leads, prospects, and handle processing of lead discovery and background research to optimize Sales and Marketing success. In addition to the day-to-day duties, you will join team members on customer calls and meetings. Your professional growth will be supported as an analyst with opportunities to grow in the analyst and engineering tracks.
 
This is a full-time position in Knewton’s New York office, reporting to the Director of Analytics. 
Responsibilities
  • Manage leads, outbounding, qualification, and accounts, etc. within Salesforce
  • Ensure accuracy in our Sales and Marketing data
  • Sales and Marketing Analysis and report creation
  • Provide analytical and research support to our national Sales team
  • Gather requirements for enhancing our business tools from your team members
  • Analyzing and enhancing the value of a Knewton partnership with our customers
Required Skills
  • Strong Excel, and analytical skills.
  • Sales CRM (Salesforce, SugarCRM, Dynamics, Etc) experience
  • Strong Verbal and Written communication in English
  • Lead generation sales experience is highly valuable
  • Comfortable operating with unclear and changing priorities (at a startup) 
Preference Given To Applications With
  • Experience in marketing automation software - e.g. Hubspot, Marketo or similar platform
  • Experience in writing SQL queries
  • Looker, Tableau, or other modern BI Tool
  • Bachelor’s Degree
