Your impact:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Digital Editor with a strong background in digital content strategy to help execute the day-to-day editorial operations of WomansDay.com. As an integral part of our editorial team, you will play a crucial role in creating, curating, and optimizing content to engage our audience and drive traffic to our website.

What you'll do:

Content Creation: Edit - and sometimes write! - compelling, well-researched articles across a range of topics including lifestyle, home, holidays, faith, shopping and more.

• Content Curation: Curate existing content to ensure it remains relevant, accurate, and up-to-date, while working with our strategy team to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to maximize organic search traffic and enhance the discoverability of our content.

• Social Media and Newsletter Management: Collaborate to develop engaging social media and newsletter content and assist in managing WomansDay.com's social media presence across various platforms.

• Audience Engagement: Monitor audience engagement metrics and user feedback to identify trends and opportunities for audience growth and retention.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team, freelance contributors, and various stakeholders to coordinate content production and ensure editorial quality and consistency.

• Editorial Guidelines Adherence: Help ensure all digital content adheres to WomansDay.com's editorial guidelines, brand voice, and style standards.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media, content creation, or editorial roles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging, high-quality content that resonates with a diverse audience.
  • Proficiency in SEO and ecommerce principles and strategies.
  • Familiarity with content management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.

The base salary for this role is between $67,000 and $71,500. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future

This is a position covered under the Writers Guild of America, East, Collective Bargaining Agreement.
