Mic is expanding its branded video offerings and looking for a highly creative Director/Shooter to join its field production team.

Responsibilities:

• Have a strong and clear understanding of the Mic voice
• Direct, shoot and occasionally edit a variety of Mic’s branded video properties
• Execute creative solutions to incorporate client's goals into Mic’s branded video series
• Collaborate with Mic’s Associate Producer while on location to bring quality filmmaking sensibilities to Mic’s video storytelling
• Ensure the quality of Mic’s branded video exceeds both personal and external expectations
• Run point on story boarding, script outline, interview questions, and shot lists for various campaigns
• Collaborate with clients while on set, taking into consideration their feedback

Must Haves:

• 5+ years experience shooting documentary-style field production
• Diverse visual style with strong sense of composition
• Ability to quickly learn new production tools and news shooting styles
• Passion for editorially-driven, non-fiction filmmaking
