The Job:

The Entertainment Editor will be a key member of STYLECASTER’s editorial team, working closely with the Site Director to lead our up-to-the-minute coverage of breaking entertainment and celebrity news. The ideal candidate should possess a strong, sophisticated, modern awareness of the digital lifestyle space, thrive under tight deadlines and have an unsurpassed knowledge of today’s pop culture landscape.

The Work: 

This role requires a self-starter who is obsessed with high-performing content, and gets excited about bringing in both up-and-coming and established talent in the entertainment space. As well, he/she should also have an unforgettable voice, a strong understanding of the digital pace, and a rolodex of writers and contributors who can add to the STYLECASTER offering.

Authoritative original shoots, video, features, and red carpet news coverage will all be part of this role’s purview.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conceptualize, produce, write, assign, or otherwise oversee a minimum of 4 stories per day
• Maintain monthly editorial calendar
• Liaise with photo/design teams to conceptualize artwork, schedule and execute original photo and video shoots
• Manage freelance contributors
• Ensure Entertainment vertical meets monthly traffic goals
• Represent STYLECASTER at events when appropriate
