Blackstone is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Executive Support team as an Assistant Vice President. In this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and assistance to the entire user community, onsite. Your primary focus will be the top VIP executives. Ensuring they have a seamless and efficient technology experience. You will play a critical role in reducing bugs and outages associated with the introduction of new solutions into their workflows. You must be able to deliver on projects and take the lead on many initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with BXTI subject matter experts to identify and implement new technology solutions, as well as explore alternative ways to improve the technology experience at Blackstone.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for computers, peripherals, iPhones, and iPads. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and installation of hardware, software, and operating systems, specifically for Windows 10 and the Office 365 suite.
  • Deliver a white-glove technology experience to senior members of the company, ensuring their technology needs are met with exceptional service and support.
  • Take ownership of projects and lead other team members to successfully complete tasks at hand, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Set up and configure workstations on a weekly basis for new hires and office moves, ensuring a smooth transition and optimal functionality.
  • Proactively identify and track problems and enhancements to continuously improve the user experience, addressing any issues and implementing improvements.
  • Identify new technologies or alternative approaches that can enhance workflows and productivity for users, and present recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Infrastructure and application teams on issues that require escalation, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to users.
  • Utilize the help desk ticketing system (ServiceNow) to document all work performed and communication with clients, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to provide up-to-date support and recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience providing technical support in the financial sector.
  • Experience in troubleshooting Zoom, Windows 10, Mac OSX, IOS and the Office 365 suite.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for learning and personal growth, with a drive to bring value to the team.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work independently, and follow through on projects.
  • Ability to work effectively with little direction, demonstrating self-motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Experience with network technologies, including Local Area Networks, Home Networks, and VPNs.
  • Align with company standards and procedures to ensure continuity across all IT functions.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet tight deadlines, and work well against sometimes competing priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Major in Computer Science or other applicable technical degree

Expected annual base salary range:

$110,000 - $150,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
