We are seeking an Financial/Investment Analyst Intern to the CEO. possessing solid reasoning and analytical skills to help manage and analyse the investment holdings of our CEO. This position will initially start as an internship and has the potential to become a full time role.

The ability to quickly and independently process ideas and implement changes is an invaluable attribute. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are also essential to perform well in this role. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the CEO on company wide deliverables by understanding projects at a high level without losing sight of granular details


• Prospect for and analyse new investment opportunities (private equity, venture capital, co-investment, fixed income, equities)


• Summarize pitches and form investment recommendations


• Meet with and conduct diligence on prospective managers


• Track investment opportunities and put into database


• Analyse existing portfolio, leverage new technology for reporting

Qualifications:

Fareportal Fundamentals require some combination of:

• Solid academics


• Technology awareness/background


• Background


• Bachelor’s degree required. Ideal candidate is currently in graduate school or was awarded a graduate degree in business


• Background in finance or investing, specifically alternative assets and the endowment investing model

Skills

• Highly skilled using spreadsheet programs including Excel, and ideally database programs like Microsoft Access and Web-based applications.


• Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with C level and HODs


• Keen eye for details; including the ability to design solutions which serve the operational needs of varied businesses


• Ability to set own agenda and determine adequate workflow and deadlines.


• Must be extremely trustworthy and able to act with discretion.
