The Role:
The Financial Reporting Manager is a key member of the finance and accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this individual will oversee all aspects of internal and external financial reporting including; operational reporting, budget reporting, variance analysis, all external stakeholders. This role has a high level of visibility throughout the organization and leadership team. We are looking for an individual with strong experience and technical knowledge. (Note: this is not an SEC external reporting role.)
The Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the creation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results against both budget and forecast and across multiple lines of business
- Oversee all reporting trees including the chart of accounts
- Ownership of all general ledger and business intelligence system reporting tools
- Ownership of external reporting requirements to banks and other financial stakeholders
- Responsible and oversight of the creation of annual budgets with other key members of the Financial analysis team
- Assist with all ad-hoc reporting request
The Requirements:
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited school
- Three (3) to Seven (7) years’ working on a corporate finance team with exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Must have experience using a large ERP system and/or business reporting tool
- Must have experience as part of a financial monthly, quarterly, annual close process
- Must have experience building and using corporate budgets
- Detail-oriented, business-friendly, team player, with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
