YouVisit is looking for a talented Freelance Junior Designer to work as a member of our marketing team on a range of exciting projects. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of typography and design best practices. You will play a pivotal role in consistently producing high-quality digital and print assets that are aligned with the award-winning YouVisit brand.

For you? No task is too big or too small, so you’ll crank out everything from banner ads to website designs, presentations and infographics.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll work closely with the Sr. Designer and will collaborate across the organization to design emails, eBooks, ads, infographics, collateral materials, and presentation decks.

Communication is a big part of the job, so you’ll need to feel confident enough to contribute to the entire creative process.

Responsibilities:

• Offer input during brainstorms and share ideas
• Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback
• Support the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects

Qualifications:

• You have a B.A. in design or related field, have at least 2 years design experience
• You are able to work in our NYC office
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner is a must
• Experience seeing projects through from inception to production
• Desire to continually improve design standards
• Ability to listen to constructive feedback and use it to improve
• A passion for virtual reality hardware and platforms is a plus

Skills:

• You are an expert with the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• You’re confident working with PowerPoint and possess basic After Effects skills
• Familiarity with Premiere Pro, WordPress, and G Suite all a plus
• Brownie points if you’re a skilled photographer
