Market Intern
BuzzFeed's shopping vertical needs an editorial intern for a full-time paid position in the New York office, available to start immediately. You'll be tasked with writing posts about current and upcoming online sales and deals in a variety of categories.
The ideal candidate has a strong social media presence, especially on Pinterest, Instagram, and Facebook, and is capable of approaching and covering these topics in a humorous and accessible way.
Responsibilities
- Research and write about the best sales and deals on the internet, from large and small retailers, in a variety of product categories
Requirements
- Previous internship at a magazine or website, or exemplary blogging or writing
- A strong appreciation for aesthetics and design
- A positive, curious, playful disposition with a sense of humor
- Comfort with the fast pace of internet publishing
- Obsession with online shopping
- Firm grasp on the BuzzFeed voice
