Position Overview:
As the Paid Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for driving efficient customer acquisition, ultimately growing Rent the Runway’s customer base. You are a data-driven and analytically minded individual who thrives on innovation and finding new and efficient ways to incite purchase behavior within target audiences. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the team lead for data analysis and manage ongoing campaign optimizations, driving highest efficiency possible
- Maintain a high standard of tracking and reporting - constantly look for new ways to extract more meaningful insights from data sets
- Serve as a thought-leader on testing methodology and concepting of upcoming tests to ensure reliable and actionable results
- Own day-to-day and ad hoc reporting for paid channels (social, display, affiliate etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analytics, broader marketing team) to ensure a streamlined approach to marketing tracking and learning implementation
- Partner with technology and data analytics / data architecture teams to clearly determine and execute attribution models and reporting that reflect investments in paid media
- Manage and deliver clear and consistent reporting to management team providing a clear perspective on campaign successes
- Develop and implement subscribers’ scoring methodology to optimize spend and maximize new customer growth
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree plus 1+ year of experience in data analysis
- Must be highly quantitative, analytical, and a technical self-starter, including the ability to process and understand large data sets and clearly articulate program status to management
- Strong knowledge of online analytics/business intelligence tools
- Proven track record of translating data into actionable insights
- Curious nature and unending desire to expand one’s knowledge base in digital and paid marketing
- Strong bias for action and a get things done attitude
- Must have a strong entrepreneurial drive and be resourceful - need to thrive in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to be hands on driving both strategy and day-to-day execution in a fast paced startup environment
- Strong project management skills to ensure internal execution against plans
- Experience working for the direct to consumer division of a multi-channel retailer or subscription based e-commerce business a plus
