The Opportunity:

The Procurement Senior Analyst will be responsible for establishing and adhering to purchasing guidelines based on the goals and strategies outlined by Shutterstock to the ultimate achievement of best-in-class business results The Procurement Analyst will assist with cost-benefit analysis, contract pricing and negotiations, and budgeting of multiple departments and projects.

Responsibilities: 

  • Draft and edit contracts including but not limited to: amendments and purchase agreements for review. Follow documents through to full conformity then update necessary databases and staff.
  • Lead the strategic sourcing analysis efforts and work with various departments to identify new suppliers
  • Perform cost benefit analysis and determine opportunities for savings, project efficiency, and strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to develop scope of work and bid documents for RFPs
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with vendors and suppliers for RFIs and RFPs
  • Generate monthly reports and identify areas for cost reduction across various functions
  • Identify smarter solutions for optimizing processes, while reducing costs cross functionally
  • Conduct day-to-day purchasing for multiple departments in accordance to Shutterstock policies and procedure
  • Establish contractor management process through streamlining internal policy, procedures and infrastructure.
  • Maintain confidential company information and filing system for purchases and correspondence documents
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience within Procurement, Commercial Operations, and/or Finance
  • Understanding of procurement trends and legal terms as they relate to purchasing contracts and framework agreements
  • Outstanding analytical skills and a proven ability to connect data analysis with business issues and decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and industry network
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to negotiate contract terms and agreements
  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • Workday experience a plus
