Our team is seeking a Brand/Product Manager to join the Product organization.

In this position, you will provide thought leadership and own brand governance. Taking a metrics-driven approach, you will collaborate with Knewton’s senior management, product, content, marketing and sales teams. This strategic position requires consideration for long-term product growth, as well as customer and end user satisfaction. We’re looking for a detail oriented individual with a strong drive to execute on innovative strategies that are consistent with our mission to improve student learning outcomes and bring personalized learning to the world.

 

This is a great opportunity to:


Provide thought leadership on product features and design that accelerates our mission of personalized learning in the hands of every student

Become a subject matter expert in communicating the goals, wants and needs of Knewton users into a cohesive product strategy

Drive quantitative and qualitative analysis that evaluates the performance of products and content against goals and develop recommendations for improvement

Define, monitor and improve metrics that align with business objectives

Create and follow schedules, understanding the intricacies of the North American Higher Education market

Manage a budget and create revenue and cost models for product initiatives

Develop product capabilities that meet and exceed the needs of our customers

 

What we are looking for:


10+ years of experience in the NAHE market managing large-scale content product strategies

History of defining product strategy and sustaining lasting cross-functional working relationships with all functions of product, sales and marketing to execute on that strategy

Experience in sales or marketing with digital products in the higher education space

Track record of bringing simple, elegant technical products to life

Experience successfully leading teams of designers and engineers via inspiration, vision, and analysis

Strong leader with top notch interpersonal skills

Mini-CEO mindset/skillset: Strong leader; top notch interpersonal skills; Skilled at making, and articulating, proper product investments across various areas - feature development, performance, security, compliance, etc.

Superb skills in soliciting and taking feedback around the product and market data, distilling it into straightforward and compelling product builds, as well as articulating brand direction to diverse stakeholders

Up to date and thorough experience in the higher education landscape and digital content management

Understands the competitive landscape, what consumers want, and able to help the Marketing and Sales teams better target them

Operational excellence in product delivery and content production
