Intersection is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Product Manager to join our Technical Operations team and help to develop a vision and product strategy for the deployment and management of digital assets. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire product lifecycle including conducting user and market research, creating product requirements, working with engineers to build systems and services and designing launch plans. You must possess a strong business, design and technical acumen; be able to articulate a vision and build alignment across teams; embrace big-picture thinking, and the leadership skills to make concepts a reality.

The Role & Deliverables:

  • You will help define our product vision for how Intersection approaches the deployment, management and ongoing operational maintenance of its digital assets.
  • You are organized, collaborative, a strategic thinker, highly motivated and a self starter. You have the confidence and knowledge to successfully own the product. You have experience working with designers, engineers, developers, QA, project management, finance and operations. Prior experience and understanding of the software development cycle is essential.
  • You are able to translate business goals into product strategy, requirements, and roadmap. You must be able to communicate clearly what the product is to the team and advocate to key stakeholders.
  • You will work with Product and Business leads to define product requirements. You will also act as internal champion for the product and evangelize the product vision.
  • You will help to define a product vision and strategy with a cross functional team of product, engineering and operations leads. You will communicate product strategy and progress outside of the team while managing budget and working relationships with key vendor partners.

Candidate Profile:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Software product management and/or product design experience in an agile, rapid deployment environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Gather requirements and maintain product backlog
  • Familiarity with asset management and/or hardware deployment planning and management business domains, or the ability to quickly learn
  • Familiarity with Kanban, Scrum, XP, or similar Agile software development practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities
